Project Description
This project was a new build of a mid-century modern home. The goal was to honor the original architectural character of the neighborhood while introducing fresh, contemporary elements suited to modern living. To help my clients visualize the transformation, I began by creating detailed mood boards—starting with the kitchen, and bathrooms which served as the design anchor for the entire home. These mood boards helped define the palette, textures, and overall aesthetic direction.
In addition to mood boards, I used 3D renders to provide a more immersive and realistic preview of the proposed spaces. The combination of mood boards and renders allowed my clients to clearly understand how the design would come together, making the decision-making process much more efficient and collaborative.
As the project progressed, I continued this approach for each room, ensuring a cohesive and unified design throughout the home. The use of visual tools not only streamlined communication but also helped build excitement and confidence in the final outcome.
