Home Renovation on the Manatee River

After sustaining significant damage from Hurricane Miltone, the home underwent a full rebuild to restore structural integrity and improve overall resilience. Heavy rain and flood had caused portions of the water intrusion throughout the interior, and extensive damage to the exterior siding and windows.

The rebuilding process began with demolition of unsalvageable areas, followed by structural repairs to framing, and foundational elements. New, hurricane-rated impact-resistant windows were installed, along with reinforced exterior doors to meet current building codes.

The interior was completely renovated, including new drywall, flooring, insulation, and updated electrical and plumbing systems. Modern finishes were selected to blend durability with style, and the kitchen and bathrooms were redesigned to improve layout and functionality. Additional drainage solutions and elevated landscaping were added around the property to prevent future water damage.

This rebuild not only restored the home to its former condition but also ensured it was safer, stronger, and better equipped to withstand future storms.
